If you are an author of the paper(s), you must register before July 28th, 2024 (23:59 CEST), so that your paper can be included in the program.

Please note that you may register for:

  • Conference (Wednesday 11 - Friday 13) including Workshops (Tuesday 10) and Industrial Forum (Tuesday 10 - Wednesday 11)
  • Workshops only (Tuesday 10)
  • Industrial Forum only (Tuesday 10 - Wednesday 11)

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Does each paper need a full registration or can I register several papers with one registration?

    A full conference registration covers a maximum of two (2) papers, either Regular or Work-in-Progress.


  2. I am a student. Can I register my paper at discounted registration rate?

    No. As per the Conference policy, for an accepted paper to be included in the Conference Proceedings and published in the IEEE Xplore® DigitalLibrary, it must be accompanied by a full registration.


  3. If a student is travelling together with a professor, who has a full registration, will the student receive an invitation letter for Visa purposes?

    A student, to participate to the conference, needs to register paying the appropriate Student Registration Fee. In such case, the student can ask for the VAL (Visa Assistance Letter).


  4. I have received a Visa Assistance Letter. Can you add my co-authors names to it?

    No. VAL (Visa Assistance Letter) is tied to a specific registration confirmation number and is issued only to a person that has registered for the conference


  5. I have registered for the conference, but have not received a Visa Assistance Letter.

    Please contact ETFA 2024 at: etfa2024@dei.unipd.it (please include Registration Confirmation #).


  6. I have registered to the conference, but not asked for a Visa Assistance Letter. Can I ask the VAL for my co-author(s) or student(s)?

    No. VAL (Visa Assistance Letter) is tied to a specific registration confirmation number and is issued only to a person that has registered for the conference. Co-Author(s) or student(s), in order to require the VAL, have to individually register to the conference.
